3deg.com is operated by Tsugu AG, Gotthardstrasse 16, 6300 Zug, Switzerland, the controller under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where they apply, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR) and the UK GDPR in respect of visitors in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom respectively.

Data and purposes

This site does not have a contact form, enquiry form or sign-up form. It does not ask you to submit any personal information, and no personal information is stored by the site.

Where the site offers an email address, selecting it opens a message in your own email application. Any message you choose to send goes directly to us by email, and we process the details it contains (your name, email address and whatever you write) solely to respond to you.

We use Cabin for website analytics. Cabin is a privacy-first, cookieless service: it sets no cookies, does not track or store IP addresses, does not use browser fingerprinting, and creates no persistent identifier for you. It records only aggregated statistics such as page views, referring site and country-level location, which cannot be used to identify you.

Our hosting provider keeps standard server access logs for the security, stability and operation of the site, as is normal for any website. These logs are not used to identify or profile visitors.

Legal basis

Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interests as the legal basis for keeping server access logs (to keep the site secure, stable and operational), for aggregated website analytics (to understand how the site is used), and for handling any email you choose to send us (to receive and respond to your message). Under the Swiss FADP, we process this data on the basis that it is proportionate and does not override your interests. You can object to processing based on our legitimate interests, as described under "Your rights" below.

Cookies

This site uses one strictly necessary cookie, set by the site itself. It keeps the site working and secure. It stores no personal information, no IP address and no advertising or tracking identifier, and nothing in it is shared with third parties.

We use no analytics, advertising or other non-essential cookies. Our analytics provider, Cabin, sets no cookies at all. On that basis no cookie consent banner is shown, as strictly necessary cookies are exempt from consent requirements.

Recipients

Service providers acting on our instructions, namely website hosting and analytics. Where a provider processes data outside Switzerland, we ensure an adequate level of protection.

Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out above, or as required by law. Analytics data is aggregated and holds no personal information.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, ask us to restrict its processing, or object to its processing, by writing to us.
